Services

Residential | Commerical | Industrial

We are a professional Florida asphalt paving contractor serving Hamilton, Marion, Hancock, and the surrounding counties. We are proud to be locally owned and operated, and since 1985, we have been focused on providing paving services with safety, quality, budget, and your schedule in mind.

We strive to develop long-lasting professional relationships with our clients through open communication, superior customer service, and quality work. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured so our customers can assure our crew is professional, knowledgeable, and provides exceptional workmanship.

We believe that a solid base is key to the survival of any asphalt surface. We start by compacting the surface before laying the base, and again after the asphalt is laid. This is the key to a long-lasting asphalt surface. We use hand-operated machines with up to 10-ton rollers and can handle jobs from a county highway to a residential drive, everything in between, and some patchwork. Our asphalt services include light and heavy-duty traffic surfaces. We do sealcoating, regardless of whether we installed the asphalt or it was already in place, and chip seal for long-lasting durability and a no-dust surface. We can resurface your existing asphalt. We also offer concrete work, new or repairs.

Elite Asphalt is fully licensed, and insured and has built a strong reputation as a premier asphalt contractor. Our most common asphalt paving jobs include driveways, parking lots, sealing, repairs, and maintenance. Our equipment is state of the art and we ensure that projects are done right. Whether we are working from blueprints or a homeowner’s request, the finished product will be to specification. Our employees are trained and experienced in all aspects of the paving process. This helps us to provide the most competitive prices for you.

Our process for removing and replacing asphalt is rather simple and starts with the dig-out. In order to make room for your new blacktop parking lot, your old parking lot must be removed. With the aid of heavy machinery, our skilled operators will dig out and haul away existing concrete and asphalt, making sure not to damage any permanent structures. The next step involves making a sub-cut and removing the old base material if an inadequate base exists. After the sub-cut has been made, a minimum of 4 inches of processed gravel is installed and compacted. Drainage is also set at this time, making sure that water goes where it should. There is no drainage issue we can't handle. For each asphalt project we work on, we determine a plan for drainage before the job starts. If the job is not constructed correctly, it will not stand the test of time. The new asphalt can be installed when the base material has firmed up enough to pave. After the asphalt has been laid and compacted it needs time to cure.We install all new asphalt surfaces with state-of-the-art equipment and a level of expertise you cannot find with ANY other company.

Asphalt Resurfacing & Repair

ASPHALT RESURFACING

If you are a candidate for asphalt repair, but do not want to have a patchwork look to your lot, we might recommend an asphalt overlay or asphalt resurfacing in Florida. We will remove loose or broken asphalt as needed and patch the excavated areas with high quality asphalt. Existing asphalt at transition areas (sidewalks, garages, etc.) will be cut back for a tie-in. Next, we will clean the surface of dirt and debris and apply a tack coat to the existing asphalt surface to aid in the bonding of new asphalt. Low or uneven areas will be leveled as needed for an even surface. Our professional crew will then overlay or resurface your parking lot or asphalt surface. With the use of high quality asphalt and professional installation, your new surface will last for many years to come.

ASPHALT REPAIR

Our professional Florida asphalt repair is performed to correct isolated or random areas with problems on the driveway or lot. Potholes, low spots, sinking at the garage, alligator or spider web cracking (numerous cracks that run together) are all candidates for repair. Damaged asphalt is carefully removed and new gravel is installed and compacted as needed. We will then apply a strong tack coat to the edges of the newly cut area. Finally, we install new high quality asphalt at the same grade as adjoining pavement and compact to a uniform finish. Asphalt Repair in the Indy area are very common due to the low-cost option compared to resurfacing and asphalt replacement.

Sealcoating

Elite Asphalt Paving is your expert asphalt seal coater in Florida. Sealing your asphalt is very important and will increase the longevity and the appearance of your asphalt. This special process applies a coating that acts as a barrier from materials that may react with the surface of the asphalt.

After the pavement is thoroughly cleaned, we start the sealcoating process.

We apply the seal coat using two separate techniques. One being a brush or squeegee the other being a spray wand. After the pavement is thoroughly cleaned, we start the sealcoating process. Our process involves applying an emulsion-based sealcoat material mixed with sand. Where appropriate, to prevent staining of those surfaces, small brushes are used to cut-in adjacent to curbs, aprons, sidewalks, etc. You may notice a darker shade resulting from additional material in those areas, but in time, these areas will blend in with the rest of your driveway. This important step of the asphalt paving process will ensure your asphalt will last for much longer by withstanding the elements.
